Representative pathways in ACT Oztag begin from U9s - U17s for Juniors and 15+ to over 60s for seniors.

Each year the Australian National Championships, NSW State Cup and the NSW State Shield Tournaments are played in Coffs Harbour N.S.W players are selected through two regional branches: ACT OZTAG and SOUTHERN RAMS

• ACT Cougars – representing players from Nicholls, Holt, Kambah, Kaleen, and Calwell competitions.

• Southern Rams – representing players from Crookwell, Goulburn, Bungendore, and Queanbeyan competitions.

Both regions merge annually for the Australian National Championships held every October/November, bringing together the best talent from across ACT and Southern Regions NSW.

• Players must be registered in a Summer or Winter Competition of the same year to be eligible to trial.

• Trial dates and times for upcoming tournaments will be posted on our Facebook Page.

• Players must be available for the full tournament and training sessions set by coaches.

• Players must read the SELECTION POLICY prior to trials

• All players are to arrive minimum 15 minutes prior to the trial time for registration.

• 1st Phase - Trial - Squad of 25 are selected to train for four weeks

• 2nd Phase - Squad is reduced to 20 players, which train for another 4 weeks

• 3rd Phase - Touring team announced 16 players
